Today I have been working on some of the animations for the motorway. (east and west bound) Then I did the rollercoaster and a few hours later I finised there are 111 frames in this animation of the rollercoaster and 40 static ones at the end... It's probably going to take me forever to finish the whole town... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Looks like someone's set their phaser to stunning!
Putting all the little animations together must be tricky
Putting it together is tricky and to make it really complicated I have a day cycle which is 24 of our minutes so there are 2.5 pixel town days per hour. The action script for that is quite complicated and in which I have set a global variable for the hour so buildings and stuff have open and close times. There is going to be alot of complicated stuff going on. Like a police chase at 2pm a train at 8:30, 12:30, 16:30, 20:30. It's very time consuming.
Things like the motorway are scripted too so there are 6 colours per car randomly chosen and each car has x% chance of appearing. The % is higher during peak travel times.
